RAW WAR Receives Realscreen Award Nomination!
The first round of judging has concluded for the upcoming 2015 Realscreen Awards, and realscreen is happy to announce the nominees advancing to the second, final round of judging.
The awards, which recognize the best in reality, documentary and factual entertainment programming from around the world, will be presented during a ceremony held at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica, California, on June 2, in conjunction with the forthcoming Realscreen West conference, which takes place June 1-3.

It’s one of the least known, and most crucial battles of the Vietnam War. The objective: secure Hill 724 and cut off enemy supply lines. In the deep jungles of Dak To, this mission leads American troops straight into a trap. Ambushed, on open ground 46 men are killed, 70 are wounded. Due to massive casualties, the events of Hill 724 go largely unknown and undocumented for decades… until now. An audiotape is discovered with the promise of a missing film. This find sets one survivor on a mission to correct the official record and rectify his own haunting memories with this forgotten chapter of the Vietnam War.
