Steve
Wright
Mr. Wright has nearly a dozen film and TV credits since
his debut as a mysterious mourner in the indie short Elegy, directed
by the up and coming Jeffrey Travis. Elegy was a first round winner
in the 2003 New York City 24 Hour Movie Madness contest, and recently
was accepted into the 2004 Cinequest Film Festival in San Jose, California.
Steve Wright’s first supporting role was as a doofus dad in the
indie short, My Job. Mine, which was accepted into the 2004 South by
Southwest film festival here in Austin.
Audiences will be able to see Mr. Wright next as “Barry,”
in the upcoming “Clean Up in Motel 6,” directed by J. Clifton
Barker. Barry is a very mysterious, scary bad guy in the mold of agent
Smith from the Matrix. It is also exciting because he will be playing
again with two of the very talented cast from “The Tra?p.”
You should see what he does to Heather Hatfield.
