KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS: The Knights have over 1.7 million members worldwide, and are one of the largest and most active fraternal societies in the world.Though they call themselves Knights they don’t trace their origins back to medieval Europe. They were founded with distinctly American roots over 125 years ago in New Haven, Connecticut.
